Banking and credit analysis

Banking & Credit Analysis

Years of practical experience

Underpinning the work of commercial banks, investment banks and every other institution which originates credit exposure to a counterparty are the concepts of risk analysis and control.

The CTG faculty includes ex-bankers who have many years of experience in credit analysis, debt structuring and risk mitigation within different types of banks. They are therefore ideally suited to training lenders, traders, sales, administration personnel and others about the real-world risk issues involved in their jobs.

Risk arises in different forms and a standardised approach to teaching risk and financial analysis is not very effective. CTG believes that the appropriate approach to this subject lies in tailoring the training through:

a) assessing the specific risks on an individual industry basis (e.g. energy, oil, banking, insurance, etc.); and

b) analysing the specific business needs of the individual organisation/department which requires training (e.g. for research analysts, project/trade financiers, sales/traders, middle office, etc.)

Every enquiry made to CTG is different and we endeavour to propose individual solutions to achieve the client’s specific business and training objectives.
